So, I'm gonna come right out and just say that the 5 stars might be too generous. My five stars is based off of emotion. To begin with Rallys is super nostalgic for the wife and I. We met at one 30 years ago back home. So it's a place we like to visit no matter where we're at. This one we found on road trip. We pit stopped in Birmingham. So the place needs a little love but the employees were super friendly and super patient and we tried to order. We were at the drive thru menu trying to figure out what we wanted and the staff did their best to help us out. Good grief has the menu changed over 30 years. I went with a Buford melt on sourdough bread and the wife had a traditional burger combo. We added an order of wings cause....what!... Rally's now carries buffalo wings.... So we wanted to try em. We get to the window and the cashier is ready with the drink and the wife's combo. She hands it over and asks us to park because the wings are still cooking. We park and wait. It dawned on me that I wasn't sure I parked in the right spot so I got off to take a peak and a staff member asks if I needed help. I shared that I forgot where the cashier asked me to park to which he said " where you are at is fine, i got you". I said cool and went to wait on the truck. While waiting, I reminded the wife it's been 30 years since we met and how bout a pic. She was embarrassed and reluctant but I managed to talk her into it. I asked the gentleman who was outside waiting for my order to take a photo of us and found that his name was Thomas. Thomas is the General Manager of this location and he was just as excited about our 30 year Rallys anniversary as we were. Turns out he just took over and has had a very difficult time bringing this place up to par. He says he has a ways to go but is making lots of progress. He travels from Georgia everyday to make a difference in his new neighborhood. All in all it was a great interaction with the staff. Food was hot, fresh and tasted great. For some reason, we felt right at home.

Good flavor for food but had to come and HEAT our food up once we arrived home. The cheese wasn’t even melted. The lady at the window was kind but they should make sure the food is cooked together.

Everytime I come to this location it's a issue. Rather it's money issues or something pertaining to the food. At this point why is it still open. My visit tonight was just so disappointing. I went only because I wanted fries. There was no chicken bites so I ended up getting the #5. Well the Sprite, Dr.Pepper wasn't working. To top it off they didn't even use Rallys fries. I saw the manager actually poor great value( Walmart) fries into the grease to be cooked. Walmart sales Rally fries so why use another off brand. The meat looked reheated. Why I still accepted the food i have no idea myself. I basically gave my food to my dog. This was my last time at this location.
