Food preferences are highly subjective and I’m sure there are scores of people who love the grease explosion that comes from each bite of a Freddy’s burger. The fries are shoestring style and are delicious and the ingredients are fresh. For me it was just that the patties are smash burger style and so very very greasy. Our experience with the staff was great. They were courteous and helpful. The restaurant itself was unclean. We were the first customers in. I know this because, even though we arrived 45 minutes after opening all of the doors were locked. After ordering we found a table. A sticky table. That’s when we looked around and noticed that the place either hadn’t been cleaned or that whoever did clean didn’t care. Conclusion. The people are great. If you check the reviews you’ll see that plenty of people love the burgers, they just aren’t for me.

I ordered the original double combo with cheese fries and a drink. The burger extended outside of the bun. I could hardly put it down because I was afraid the bun would slide off as I was eating it. That was a handful. So good. The cheese fries were warm and so gooey. That cheese was through the fries completely. I couldn't finish them. It was too much. That cheese was like Velveeta. Liquid gold.

Very much not the Freddys I know and have been going to for years! Soggy burger buns, fries all thrown into the bag, tastes old and dry, yeah no thanks especially paying $40!
