Five Guys

I visited five guys and ordered reg cajun fries with milkshakes. Until today, cajun were one of my favourite fries but the fries I got today disappointed me which will refrain me from coming back. Didn’t taste cajun salt at all. Some part of it overcooked and rest undercooked. Milkshake didn’t taste any strawberries, just plain vanilla base. The guy who made and served the fries needs to be more courteous. I called the manager and talked to her, I appreciate her efforts by providing me with possible solutions but the other guy needs to know how to do their job.

My first impression was that everyone working there seems to be happy, chatting with each other and smiling. That says a lot about the environment. The free peanuts are always a win, and I was willingly given a bag to take some home for my children who were waiting for their food. The service was friendly and fast, the restaurant was spotless, the food was delicious. We didn’t realize that five guys had opened a new location and are happy to support these great folks.

I was thrilled by this place in the summer time. This winter it's been a rather poor experience. Often times my food is not made the way I ordered it. I don't blame the staff, they are incredible people. However, they may be overworked and just miss putting on the correct toppings with the workload. For example, I went in today and it is filled with rather rough looking/miserable customers just eating what looks like very plain food. I am stuck eating what they order (meat and bread, "pop"). It's like these people have been banned from cooking on their own BBQ's.
