Wish I could give zero stars. Heard wonderful things about the new powerplay poutine from my daughter. 3 of us ordered it. They didn't put ANY gravy. $8 for a small box of fries and they can't make them right? I phoned the manager, Patricia, who argued with me that there was gravy. Instead of apologizing and making it right, she lied and said she checked them all herself and that there is less gravy on the new limited time poutine. There was some sweet maple sauce but NO gravy. Please see the pictures. I didn't want free food, I just wanted to let them know they made the poutine incorrectly. When charging that amount of money, they should make sure they make the item the way they describe. I have heard horrible things about Easthill McDonalds. I will not be going there ever again. Avoid this restaurant at all cost! I will be addressing this with their head office. I am tired of getting taken advantage of by paying these ridiculous costs and receiving zero customer service.

Got off work from the hospital at midnight, had a hankering for Mcdonald’s fries and I thought I’d drive by the one near our place. Not the 1st time I’ve done this but every single time I do, at this particular location-Easthill Red Deer store 40077, the fries were old. Arent they suppose to be fresh?? Its always around this time-midnight. Not sure if they dont have enough staff at night or the staff at night doesnt care for quality of the products they serve. I get it, its just fries. But as mentioned, it isnt the 1st time it happened. I was hoping maybe management should monitor how the night staff’s consistency with the standards. As you can tell from the picture, they arent fresh. Ordered at 12:05 midnight January 18th. I just wanted fresh, hot fries for a snack after a busy shift and all I got were cold old fries.

It was a busy afternoon at McDonald’s today, but I am so glad this store has an amazing employee. She was incredibly kind, helped us with our meals, delivered our food to the table, and ensured everything was complete. Despite how busy it was, I also noticed her delivering food to other customers at their tables with the same level of care and dedication. I truly hope she continues providing such excellent service!
