Jack in the Box

Used to love Jack in the Box, but like many fast food establishments--the prices seem to rise in direct correlation to a decrease in quality & consistency. Visited this particular drive-thru about 10pm after a show. We ordered 4 items. Paid at window & luckily we checked bag before leaving vicinity. Of course, there was only 3 items included. So we drove back, didn't want to wait in line at drive-thru so parked to go in. They having meeting, were not very responsive, but did eventually fix issue. One item was Jr Bacon Cheeseburger for $3.50. Yes, I knew this was from value menu....but come on. Wafer thin, light as a feather, you couldn't even see there were contents on the burger from the edge. Two pieces of bread smooshed together. Tiny "beef" patty was cold & like leather. Used to get better burgers in grade school cafeteria. This might finally be the straw that breaks my fast food habit. Whether cheap or expensive, the menu items offer little value.

Anyone gotten food from here and within hours gotten insanely sick? It wasn’t food poisoning, I got the worst cold of my life and after looking into a little, I got hit with every symptom of Covid-19, which if that’s the case, these people are just up in here spreading disease. First off, the whole “can you back up in the drive through for our timer” thing is a load of crap, be better, you’re making fast food, not building rockets and on top of that, they didn’t even put my order in, they just took it verbally and then acted like it was my fault when I got to the window. I got food here late the other night, was totally fine health wise (although it is jack in the box, so maybe not perfect health, but definitely not sick whatsoever) within hours I had the most intense body aches and cough I’ve ever experienced. Buddy of mine said maybe it was just food poisoning, but the only way you get that insane of a cold from indirect contact would be either someone in the kitchen straight spit on my sandwich or they simply don’t wash their hands, like at all. I get it, it’s a fast food place, so maybe the working conditions aren’t up to par with some of their employees, but at that point go mess up somewhere else in the world. Doesn’t really matter I guess, I’ll never be eating here again

I was the only person in line in the drive through. I was told to park a few feet behind the window. After about 7 minutes I was told through the window to back up because I’m “messing up their times.” When I did finally get my food all I was handed was a bag and they closed the window. No napkins, no straw, no “thanks for waiting.” AVOID THIS LOCATION AT ALL COSTS!!
