LOCAL Public Eatery - Kamloops

Our first visit to Local Public Eatery in Kamloops. Late September at about 3 in the afternoon. It was not too busy but one could tell there was room for a crowd in their large dining room and patio. Our server was super friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. I have a gluten and fish allergy and she assured me that the kitchen was allergy aware. They have a dedicated fryer which was awesome. I ordered the blackened chicken curry and my husband ordered the "classic" burger. Although he has no issues with gluten, he asked for his fries to be done in the dedicated fryer so I could try them. My curry bowl was delicious. Next time I would get it without the hot peppers. My face lit up like a lightbulb but I kept eating. The burger looked nice but had many sauces on it. I would describe it as "soggy", though he said it tasted good. Average selection of beers on tap and plenty of other drink options to be had. Looking forward to visiting again some day and trying something new

First time visiting LOCAL in Kamloops. After visiting. Their other locations thought I would give it a try. Nice big open venue lots of room for larger groups, friends and family . I arrived one hot afternoon thirsty for a beer with lots of room to sit. Not a bad selection of beer but they didn't have much summer light beer on tap that day 3 beers were sold out . Food was good and tasty, portion sizes were questionable for the price . Service was good . Thank you, I will return ☘️

Came here around 10 30pm for happy hour, everything we had was amazing, delicious, definitely will come back again and recommend to friends!
