A&W claims to uphold high-quality standards, yet my recent experience at their Garden City location in Richmond was completely unacceptable. I ordered the Chubby Chicken Cruncher with yam fries and root beer, but the food quality fell far short of any reasonable expectation. The chicken was dry and tough, devoid of any crispiness. The yam fries were cold and soggy, clearly having been fried hours earlier. To make matters worse, I ended up with diarrhea after the meal. This level of service is absolutely unacceptable. As this was my first visit, it will undoubtedly be my last. The owner must take immediate action to ensure that the staff meets the quality standards expected from this brand.

Have been here several times over the years. Service is always excellent, staff are friendly. The food is good quality. Coffee free refill. The best location in Richmond by far. Free parking inside Garden City Plaza.

Typical fast food restaurant; can’t expect too much when they are all operated differently by location. Told drive thru order i had my coupon; failed to process the coupon and charged me full price in the end; and blaming me to not tell them at check out but when ordering; rejected to give me a price change and told me next time! That was a first time i was told and blamed on it was my fault they didn’t listen/understood i told them i had a coupon first thing when placing my order! I only came because of the coupons offered! Or else not even on my dining options!
