Mean Poutine

Recently had a chance to try this tiny place called Mean Poutine in the heart of Vancouver downtown and it was some experience. The customer service was good, and the staff was friendly. The food was tasty , but have tried better poutines …. We ordered fried chicken poutine and it could use a little more gravy, it felt little dry. Buffalo chicken chunks are tasty. Overall good experience, hopefully they can rectify the gravy situation and make poutine great again.

Best gourmet poutine out there. Some way cool Variety’s like the Philly cheese steak, southern bbq, meat supreme. We loved our poutine and we are poutine carnivores! Simple shop on the roadside. The worker, Hana, from Iran, was extremely kind and helpful. Super quick and relatively affordable. Merci!!! :)

Tonight was stopped on Nelson at a red light and saw the worker with the grey hair straight up hand picking fries from what looked to be the fresh basket of fries eating them. then watched him start stirring one of the stainless steel serving tubs with the ladel and saw him clearly eat 2 spoons fulls straight from it. I've eaten here in the past and know that's where the condiments come from. My son saw it too.. disgusting 🫣 wish I had time to get the picture
