What’s the whole point of a reward system when they’re not going to honor it ? Today I went in spending $21 to get free fries . They told me I couldn’t get them because I got queso loaded fries for my combo. The app said to spend $5 for free fries. They told me I got a discount already etc. I’m a regular at del taco and queso loaded up charge is always 2.30 as they charged me for that. I had to pay the price of the fries just because I’m not spending $5 more to get the free fries. The whole time the Lady and the Man(manager I assume) were just arguing with me about it , I didn’t raise my voice not one of the, but they were raising their voice, getting frustrated with me. All this over $3.89 worth of French fries? The whole time I was telling them when I scanned on their POS system it showed French fries regular , and they weren’t even sure what to do , I hope they get better customer service. This location lost a customer today . How awful service, treated like I was the one in the wrong ? Apparently we have to tell them verbally about the rewards . What’s the whole point of “selecting” the rewards in the app. The fact tha they weren’t even trying to make things right , just arguing back and forth with me while my son was listening to them raise their voices to me. I was so uncomfortable I decided to take my dine in order (which my son was really happy about) to go due to the atmosphere it created. As a kitchen manger myself I feel so disappointed and disgusted on how they handled this situation. If they weren’t so argumentative about it and explained it in a better manner I probably would’ve been understanding. Make sure you verbally communicate to them about rewards since they can’t read what’s on their own POS system. Now I have to eat some cold food at home due to their lack of hospitality. Please don’t come here if you expect good customer service . You’ll just get mad angry workers. Food is good, it’s del taco either way. Wish their employees were as good as their food. Lost a loyal customer rose Ave.

Ordered just a regular classic chicken burrito on my lunch break with no other mods whatsoever and somehow received a burrito with refried beans that matches absolutely zero menu items available at Del Taco. It's basically the regular chicken burrito that comes with just lettuce, tomato, cheese and chicken+sauce but instead of the chicken and sauce, they put refried beans. There's no rice or guac to match their veggie burrito or anything else I see on the menu, so Idk what the hell I just received.

I have been Team Del Taco and Loyal for over 20yrs I moved to Oxnard over 2yrs ago and been going to the one on Rose for the most part always Great Service and my Del Taco craving are met but this last visit left me feeling very Sad my CC had to be unlocked so as I explained it to the young LADY she basically was tapping my card on the counter repeating can I run it through yet? It just got more Awkward for me and stressful because I felt rushed but to add salt to injury she handed over the card to another employee because it seemed she didn’t have the time or patience to deal with my order? and the young man who did take over was very kind and patient I kept on Apologizing but he would Gestar No Problem as we were receiving loaded Fries l out order the first employee who was Rude was now giving our 3 large drinks without cup holder and when my husband requested one she rolled her eyes and handed it to my husband I couldn’t tell you how that made me feel when I looked at my order it wasn’t even appealing maybe because I was upset but it wasn’t good I don’t even think they put 2 patties because it was dry the fries were now cold and when I called to explain my experience and asked for the manager this person claimed she was the manager and her name was Martha, when I express my concerns I was cut off with a We are busy mame call main office I asked her what's the regional supervisor’s name? she said she doesn’t know the name or phone number I was so upset that I couldn’t even enjoy my treat that I do for our self’s because we are on a fixed income we only are able to do once a month treat and an order of loaded fries, Del beef burrito, hamburger w/no cheese combo and 2 vanilla shakes at $36 is just getting people like us to no be able to afford it anymore especially when we started adding the loaded fries six months ago it was $6 now coming g to discover they raised it to $7+ is it me or am I just being a Karen? I am so upset and feeling robbed on these expensive prices now and to have someone be Rude is just not what I felt I deserved especially when I have been so loyal to Del Taco I am not asking for any compensation or for that employee to get in trouble PLEASE retrain or restructure your training program and the customer is not always right…but we are your guest From an retired ex HR for El Toritos 1987/1998 and Elephant Bar from 1999/2020 Sincerely Sería Mendito
