It is my favourite in-and-out in town; every time I came to San Diego I would come back to this place. A lot of good memories there and always want my double cheeseburger with animal style. Some parking space available but always easily blocked by the drive-in queue. Tons of people do drive-in, actually you could still find tables inside the restaurant.

This In-N-Out Burger store is conveniently located right off the I-8 freeway and near Mission Valley Mall, making it a popular spot for a quick bite, especially after other restaurants have closed. Its late-night hours make it ideal for a post-shopping or post-movie meal. The drive-thru tends to get packed around 5 pm, so I chose to dine in to avoid the wait. The restaurant has classic In-N-Out decor, featuring white bricks and colorful paintings of the iconic store with palm trees, creating a fun and nostalgic feel. The staff are incredibly busy but still maintain a friendly attitude toward customers, which adds to the experience. The food is high-quality, with burgers and fries that offer plenty of customization options. I particularly enjoy the double-single, and their "lite" lemonade is a refreshing low-calorie option with natural sweetness. There’s also an outdoor dining area with umbrellas, perfect for enjoying the scenic surroundings. You can even spot the beautiful church on the nearby hillside from here. Combined with the view of the bustling highways, it creates a surprisingly charming backdrop for a classic burger experience.
