I normally don’t make complaints I know customer service can be hard especially in SF. I come to this Carl’s Jr all the time and order a kids meal for my daughter and she gets the same thing. One of the new employees didn’t hear me, I said the order twice and he got it wrong. No big deal for me, if it wasn’t for my picky kid I wouldn’t even ask to fix it but my daughter is extremely picky. I just asked if they can give me the correct fries and the man that’s a new employee got a rude attitude with me. Again I understand CS is hard and I remained calmed. I just wanted the correct fries, instead he told me I never asked for that and tried to charge me $7 for new fries. I asked if I can just give him the ones the gave me and if he can correct the order. I put my bag of food on the counter so he knows I’m not trying to get free food. They got the shift lead and I was charged $2 and my initial bag of food disappeared, that had the rest of our food in it. When I asked where the food went he told me I shouldn’t leave my food laying around, again with a rude tone. This Carl’s Jr usually always has great customer service and the food is always hot and fresh. Hopefully the new employee can learn how to not be rude to customers for simple mistakes on orders.

I think this might be the only Carl's Jr in downtown San Francisco. Not in a great part of town with many homeless people loitering and following pedestrians. Security guard outside at lunchtime was a bit scary! Overwhelmed by the extensive menu and huge portion sizes, but staff member Hugo suggested a Cali burger combo that was on special and came to under $9. Great choice! Everything else was pretty expensive for a fast food place. I'd eaten at a Carl's Jr in LA only once before in 2005 but remember it being dirt cheap. Enjoyed the sauteed onions and sauce, burger was nice. Fries with skin on were freshly cooked. Hugo even came out to clean tables and asked me how my meal was - amazing service. Felt a little unsafe sitting in the dining area, looked like things could kick off at any moment!

It's 930pm, we have no car staying in a hotel. We're hungry and room service food is not to tickling our fancy. Uber eats and Carl's Jr. to the rescue. This location is open 24 hours! We had our food delivered by Uber eats. I had their beyond famous star with cheese and my husband had their super star with cheese. I requested not onions and pickles for him. The order came out perfectly. It was the perfect end to our night. The
