It was my first time to this CT institution. What a great place. The guys at the front taking orders and serving were fantastic. They were helpful, kind and funny - and there wasn't even a tip jar! The food was fresh and tasty. Love the crinkle fries. I did learn that the burger patty is quite thin so I'd order a double next time. Can't wait to return to try more items. Keep up the great work peeps!

This place is legit. I do miss the ordering window from before the pandemic where you got to watch them top your hot dogs. The dogs still got it. The onion rings are also the way. Always make this place a stop to get two dogs. The chili is hot but not that hot. You can do it. Clears out your sinuses.

I have been going to merrit for over 20 years and I use to love their chilli sauce it was so spicy (I love spicy) but past 2 times it stopped being spicy they definitely changed the sauce even when I asked worker said it has been the same since they opened. I did do extra chilli and it’s still weak . I’m pretty disappointed this was my favorite spot to grab food in Bridgeport
