I had an hour before I had to attend an event. I stopped by here for dinner. Nothing like a classic diner. To me, this is the ultimate dinner at a diner. The traditional chicken souvlaki dinner. It was probably the best I’ve had in a long time. The perfect amount. Tender chunks of chicken, yummy garlicky tzatziki sauce, a fresh made Greek salad. Not one that’s been hanging around in a bowl all day. Fresh pita and hot fries. Traditional would be rice but I’ll take either one. I was so thrilled when at my event I heard the history of this diner. Kudos to this family for fighting to keep this diner alive! And just because of that, this will be my go to when I am in Stamford. A total classic ❤️

The quintessential late night diner. The staff are friendly and love casual conversation. Apparently more of a late night venue, but don’t worry food is hearty and coffee refills are frequent. Worth a visit any time of day or night

My rating is for the salmon that's prepared here they must have changed the cook because I've had it a while back it was delicious. I was there recently and asked for the salmon again but this time it was horrible. It was overcooked and tasted two fishy like it just came out of the water I have had salmon before at other places and I make it at home too and it doesn't have that kind of taste it had here I could not finish it gave the rest to my sister who eats about anything and she also found it horrible and hard to eat so I recommend staying away from the salmon
