Cookout always has a great aroma when you walk up to the door. Hoping for a good burger and toppings. That is where it ended. On this trip I was not “wowed”. My burger was fair and the fries were subpar. The bun was easily a day old. There are some bonuses. The sweet tea was on point and the hand washing station was a big win. This kept me out of the poorly maintained restroom. Sadly, I cannot recommend.

Food was very hot and prepared to order! However, the cashier was VERY rude and dismissive when I tried to ask for extra condiments, and had an issue with my order. I typically have decent experiences here, however the staff does not seem to care a lot about their job, and not caring about the customer. This is based on multiple visits, and not just the one time. The restaurant is typically clean which is nice, however the quality of service is not up to where it should be compared to other locations.

Its definitely gone up in price and remained flat or gone down in quality. Definitely stick to the Jr and Regular trays, still the best value with a milkshake if that's your thing. DO NOT get the grilled charred sandwiches. It is NOT a grilles breast. Literally two small nuggets. Not worth it at all.
