Husband heard about this place so we dined here for lunch while we were visiting in January. The building is really cool because it has a great view of Waikiki beach and is open air. There’s a lot of seating and the staff is very nice. My husband got their Maui Mai Tai and said it was really good. We also split their Poke Nachos which were amazing! Highly recommend. For my entree, I got the Laren & Edna’s Favorite Cheeseburger. It was very good. I really liked the fresh grilled pineapple on it. This is a great lunch spot if you’re in the area.

The open air seating is fantastic overlooking the beach. Five stars is not enough for the atmosphere. I had fresh squeezed pineapple juice. First restaurant where I have that as an option. I elected it over the mimosa my friend ordered. It was well worth it. The mimosa not so much. Just run of the mill coffee. Not the native brand from the island. For the meal, I ordered the just eggs which has two eggs, chose crispy bacon, dry wheat toast, and a side sausage. The hash browns were too crispy for my taste. My friend had the loco moco. Two eggs over hamburger patty over rice and brown gravy with added mushrooms. His assessment was great. A full days calories in one bowl.

This is a restaurant I’ve passed by on every visit to Hawaii. Today, I finally got to try it with my family and had a burger. It’s located in a busy area with lots of foot traffic, and there’s always a line of people waiting. We ordered a cheeseburger, a steak burger, and a mahi sandwich. I had the steak burger, and it was one of the best I’ve ever had! The cheeseburger had a classic taste, while the steak burger felt heavier. For the sides, I recommend upgrading one to onion rings. I accidentally ordered the wrong drink and asked if I could change it, and they replaced it right away. The service was perfect!
