Amazing find, we were looking for a traditional diner and boy did we find one! The people were lovely, friendly , helpful and very accommodating. I honestly felt like I was a regular, slipping In to comfortable conversation. The food had generous portions, well priced and really tasty I had a traditional eggs, hash, corned beef with bacon and toast, which was massively customisable with swap out options etc. There locals, obviously noted we were English and engaged with us, making it feel even more comfortable Honestly totally recommend this little place the decor is awesome too I am all set for my flight home. Thank you for a great breakie experience !

Lucky’s on 16th in Cedar Rapids nailed it with breakfast! The scrambled eggs were exactly how they should be—fluffy, moist, and cooked to perfection. Paired with crispy hashbrowns and fresh toast, the meal was simple yet satisfying, with every part prepared just right. In a clean, casual atmosphere, we enjoyed quick, efficient service, with our food arriving in about 10 minutes. If you’re after a classic breakfast done right, this place is a gem. Highly recommended for a relaxed, satisfying start to your day!

If you want to be seated at a table, make sure you call ahead of time! We ate at the bar which was fine for our small party. The breakfast sausage links are huge and so are the pancakes! Since we are not alcohol people, the array of mimosas and bloody Marys were not as enticing. I'm sure someone who is more interested in those drinks would give this place an even higher rating. The service was friendly and attentive.
