Fanci Freez Burgers and Shakes

We have had great experiences with great food and drinks from Fanci Freez. However we had a meal that was nearly impossible to eat. I will stop there with description because they are replacing on our next visit. Thanks for making it right. Every place can have a bad day.

Never will I try this place again! This was the first and LAST time, which is a bummer because I was hoping to find a good, local burger place. This is NOT it. I went thru the drive thru on a Sunday afternoon. The drink had soda all over the outside and overflowing on the lid to the point it was dripping and I had to ask for napkins so I could wipe it clean before taking it into my car. The package with food had oil leaking on all sides and the bottom. I had to hold it up so oil wouldn't leak on my seats. When I got home, the food was inedible. The "gems" were oil soaked and soggy(I ate one). I cut the burger in half, before taking a bite, and it was very pink thru the entire patty and was extremely oily(didn't take one bite). I put it all back into the bag and put it in another plastic bag to avoid getting oil on my seats and returned it. When I returned, the service was as good as the food. The details/names I won't share, but the reason I'm even taking the time to share this review is no one came close to apologizing, or showing any care at all. They didn't care that the food was so terrible I wouldn't even try to eat it, and the experience was terrible. I didn't want any comps or freebies-I returned everything including the drink. The food options are plenty and I will drive past this place every time to get to those other places. I want to support local businesses, but this won't be one of them.

Unfortunately this could have been a good experience but fell extremely short. I absolutely understand that the cost of beef is astronomical but may I suggest sizing down the buns and seasoning the patties. The bun was way too large for the size of the burger patty. The burger patty is obviously not from frozen and I do appreciate that but I would find more value in flavor and balance over size and quantity. Quality can help offset additional costs. My family will be happy to pay for smaller positions that are made with good flavor and better presentation. Please consider adding some awesome burger seasoning options and you just may see better reviews. Respectfully, your former North End long time customers.
