Great food and great service. They cook their food in 100% beef tallow now. Drove 20 minutes just to try. More fast food places need to follow suit, props to S&S for being the first. I truly believe the recent bad reviews here are just Karens.

Yesterday 07/01/24 - Waited outside for 20+ mins (with no one in line in front or behind me - no other customers) for them to tell me that the shake machine was broken and they'd be right out. They finally brought my 4 Kid's Shakes.. only halfway filled! $20 later and completely unsatisfied. Was not about to go back in after the extensively ridiculous wait. Not to mention there was no whipped cream, which they always serve atop their shakes. Major disappointment for my kiddos (and my wallet). No wonder this place is never busy. It's a 'SHAKE' spot.. it's literally written in the restaurant name. Will not be returning.

Most awful service I have EVER had. My SO and my son ordered food, they got the order wrong and fries were cold. SO called to let them know, steak & shake employee stated she didn’t mess up the order and “knew the fries weren’t cold because she did them herself.” Then hung up on him, he called back, she answered the phone and said “you already got a response” and hung up the phone before he could say anything. I went there to see about resolving the issue and to talk to a manager…. SHE WAS THE MANAGER!!! Lucy, I hope you find a job that better suites you… customer service is not it.
