Hotdog tasted fine, not a fan of the soggy bun, sausage and onions were nice. Fries were hot and the pepper was very spicy and gave me a nice kick! I saw someone ordered the pork chop bun which looks more tantalizing.

Visited 9.7.24 ordered a burger and fries. It didn't taste all that great. I couldn't taste meat just onions & bread. The patty is thin and small. It needs some good old-fashion seasoning. The fries were lukewarm nothing special.

Jim’s Original is a Chicago institution, no doubt about it. Pulled up late at night, grabbed a Maxwell Street Polish ($6) with grilled onions and mustard—absolute perfection. That snap on the sausage? Unmatched. Also got a double cheeseburger ($7) and man, it hit the spot. The best part? They throw in free fries, which is wild considering how good they are. Service is fast and no-nonsense, exactly what you want from a legendary stand like this. If you’re in Chicago and haven’t been to Jim’s, you’re doing it wrong.
