I love diners, but this one is in terrible need of some TLC. First - ordering was difficult. They don't have menus - so you have to scan a QR code at the counter that takes you to a page that has different items and different prices than the menu at the counter. The food was just okay. It was kind of a mess and thrown into to-go containers. The coney dogs were not anything special, considering this is a coney dog place. The booths, tables, and interior are torn up and look like the place is about to be torn down.

Count your days Detroit 1! How are you going to serve me a coney dog blacker than me? The bun was hard. I spent close to $30 for y'all to serve me this? I live out of town and Detroit 1 is my go to Coney Island spot in city whenever I visit but now I am going to have to search for other quality spots. Icing on the cake was the girl at the counter got my name wrong. Detroit 1 is known everywhere, y’all gotta do better especially for the prices you charge.

Called my order in nice reception repeated my order twice. And l paid for heavy heavy onions and bacon. . I got extra cheese barely onions 4 pieces hard bacon and pickles l didn't order. Paid the driver to pick it up. I am so mad. I took a picture but don't know how to upload it. The remainder of my order was OK. Very disappointed. I had thi6 same sandwich when the Chef named Alex cooked which is why l.came back. Now they aren't answering the phone. 🤌🥹😑😒😡 Trashed●
