Found this location on Google and took the whole family. Thoroughly enjoy ourselves. They have both indoor and outdoor seating and plenty of parking. You place your order via filling out a paper slip and inserting it into a slot that slides into the kitchen. You can then watch your food being made through the glass window. Ready orders are called by the cashier at the end of the window. We tried the apple turnovers 😋, grilled cheese, red hot dogs, steak burgers, fries, cookies and scream milkshake, and a double char burger. The meats were juicy and everything was tasty. My son said the milkshake was amazing 🤩. Our little ones were given crayons and hats to color. Yummy food, awesome family experience, and highly recommend!

Growing up in the Triangle area, I've seen restaurants come & go, but Char-Grill has stood the test of time. It's one of my favorite places to eat when I come through & have time to stop. The downtown location has been the only one I would eat at, but the Cary store is just as good, which is a testament to their longevity. I took my son for his first visit & he fell in love w/ a chili cheese dog! Fast & friendly service is a part of the visit that I can always expect & receive. Don't deny yourself a great burger or hot dog if you're around one. You'll thank yourself if you stop!

Overpriced for what you get. Yes the hamburgers are cooked fresh but the hot dogs are cooked in water and do not see the grill right next to the pot....Why? Put the hot dogs on the grill for 1 to 2 minutes..just lazy and cheap. Fries even tasteless the o8l was not fresh.
