I recently visited R&R BBQ in Concord, NC, and had a mixed experience. Here’s a breakdown of what I tried: Pulled Pork: Moist and lightly smoked, the pulled pork was very good, especially with the hot vinegar sauce. However, it could have used a bit more smoke to enhance the flavor. Ribs: Unfortunately, the ribs were overcooked and didn’t hold to the bones as well as they should have. They were decent but nothing special. Baked Beans: These were awesome! Full of flavor and cooked to perfection. Fried Okra: Very good, crispy, and well-seasoned. Hush Puppies: Good, but not outstanding. Overall, I’d give R&R BBQ a solid 4 stars. The pulled pork and baked beans were the highlights, while the ribs left something to be desired.

Let me start off by saying the food here deserves a high five.. Service was more than great.. super nice service... BBQ and RIBS HITTING... the right way... the list goes on...

The atmosphere is relaxed and familiar. The servers are all really sweet. Best of all, the food is phenomenal. The half chicken was juicy and well seasoned. The mash and gravy tasted exactly how I was hoping they would. My pulled pork was cooked perfectly, and the hush puppies weren't too sweet.
