Scratch Fried Chicken

It was our first time here and we will be back. The chicken was cooked fresh, hot crispy skin, the meat was hot and juicy. Delicious. The wings are large size I could only eat 3 and I toold the rest home which reheated well. Side portions are large. I usually do not like restaurant mac & cheese but this was like home made. We only ate half and the rest reheated well the next day The potato salad was good too. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The young man that took our order answered all of questions and kept coming to the table to refill our tea even though it's a counter service restaurant. One of their regular customers also offered suggestions while we were in line to order. The place was very clean and they came out right away to wipe down the tables and sweep the floor when needed as guest left. I so glad we found this place.

Good food and the lunch special is a great deal. I could deal without watching the news while I eat though. We got the Nashville hot wings and sandwich with fries and Mac n cheese. Best wings in gso.

Several friends recommended Scratch since my wife and I were looking to grab a bite to eat before going to the movies. We ordered a 6-piece tenders, seafood eggrolls,, okra, and coleslaw. It took 20 minutes to make, which was longer than we expected. When it arrived, we could tell we ordered too much food. The tenders were big, so with all that we ordered, a 3-piece would’ve sufficed. We enjoyed the food, but it wasn’t 5-star. I’d go back again if I had the chance and try other items from the menu.
