This was awesome! I got the 1809 burger! The pickled apples were unique & delicious! The theme of the restaurant & look was really cool! Food was cooked fast & fresh! I'll definitely be back!

This place was highly recommended to us and after a few grumbles from the family we decided to walk to it. They were not wrong. If ur in the area or not you should go. The flavors were perfect and the portions just right. Everything was cooked to perfection and I want another burger. They don’t sell beer so just know. Good to see you guys when we’re back in town. Thank you.

Honest Abe’s Downtown is hands down one of the best burger spots in Lincoln. Their rotating burger specials are what keep me coming back—they’re always creative, always delicious, and sometimes a little outside the box in the best way possible. One of the biggest surprises for me? Peanut butter on a burger. I had never even considered it before, but after trying one of their specials that featured peanut butter, I was completely hooked. It added this amazing creamy texture and a slight sweetness that balanced perfectly with the savory beef and toppings. Now, I put peanut butter on every burger I make at home—it’s that good. On top of their incredible burgers, Honest Abe’s is also super accommodating. They offer vegan burger options and gluten-free buns, so everyone can enjoy an awesome meal here.
