It was ok poutine . The gravy had abit of a herbal/ natural medicinal taste to it and was abit runnier than id like. Id pass by next time. Glade i stopped though since ive heard so much about Smoke’s otherwise id wish i had. Cheers!

Unfortunately, I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. The poutine I ordered was of poor quality and didn’t meet my expectations, especially considering the high price I paid. On top of that, the strong ginger flavor in the poutine was completely unexpected and wasn’t mentioned anywhere on the menu. When I raised the issue, they replaced the poutine, but unfortunately, the new one had the same problem. In the end, when I asked to speak with the management, they decided to refund the full amount, which I appreciate. I hope this restaurant focuses more on food quality and ensuring it aligns with the menu descriptions in the future.

Hands down, the best poutine experience I've had in St. John's! The fries were crispy, the cheese curds were squeaky, and the gravy was rich and flavorful. But what truly elevated this dish was the exceptional service provided by Vidhey. His friendly demeanor and dedication to crafting the perfect poutine made the entire experience even more enjoyable. If you're looking for a delicious and satisfying meal, I highly recommend Smoke's and be sure to ask for Vidhey.!!!! Cheers 😊
