Ordered 7 fish sandwiches, fries, and apple pie and I just wanna say this is the worst food I had in my life. With one bite I felt like I was gonna die. It tasted like dog water. How is this chain still open? Is this how all checkers chains are. Disgusting and tasted expired, it felt like the uncooked fish was still alive. My tongue was violated. I thought it was just me so I gave it to my dog and even he ran away from the food. Plus the wait, took forever when there was no one in front of me. I ordered online and yah. Garbage place that needs to be shut down.

Ordered chicken tenders and fries combo meal at the drive thru. The chicken was good and meaty, similar to a diner. The fries were well seasoned. One of the best fast-food places. I wish they had locations outside of city areas though.

The service we received was not great. The staff looked like they did not want to take our order and when they notified us of a missing ingredient for the smoothie they replaced it with a lower cost item. Despite this the food came out and tasted amazing. For fast food Checkers raises the bar for food quality and cost as nothing even comes close. It’s pretty difficult to believe until you try it but the fries are the all time greatest here. I didn’t believe how good they were until I tried it for the first time It makes me wish there was one in Connecticut!
