Bread, chicken, a piece of lettuce and what looked to be mayo does not constitute this to be called a sandwich. And for the price, how are they still in business? I eat from small businesses all the time, unfortunately it's very difficult to find good local businesses and continues to be so. I guess I still have to drive 30 mins to my favorite burger place. Here is a pic of what I bought before and after I put some flavor into it.

Burger express makes carteret proud. I usually get the spicy chicken sandwich with American cheese with mac n cheese on the side. I do not understand some of the negative reviews, some people say its 1 star but its probably the best sandwich i've ever had, and I'm pretty well traveled. My friends say the breakfast sandwiches are very good, but i have never tried it. 10/10 highly recommend

I love a place that is constant!! Stopped by after 11 yrs and the cheese fries and chicken sandwich were to die for. Plus the employees were wonderful and Eric the owner was still so charming. I highly recommend you stop by and find out for yourself just how wonderful Burger Express is❤️
