Ya know how they say don't meet your heroes as the experience will definitely disappoint? Well, same with a memory. It's never as good as you remember it. Too bad, I loved a dipped cone. Quality has obviously gone the way of all fastfood. The service is...well minimum wage level of quality. Just not what anyone wishes it is.

It seems this location has slipped a bit in service and freshness in our last couple of visits. We used to patren this location often. It's still good but when you drive 20 miles to this particular for service and product that used to be top notch you can definitely tell when things have dipped a bit. We still love DQ but are currently trying out different locations.

I ordered a number 1 and a number 7 off the menu with no substitutions with water. I usually order water since it will make the combo cheaper and then make no substitutions so it’ll come out faster, but not at this place. There is no discounted price for water, so we basically paid $4 for two plastic cups. Plus, we waited a long time, and watched 5-6 other people behind us get their food first. I didn’t think our order was that complicated, and every other fast food place I’ve been to will just swap out the combo with a burger and fries if we are ordering water, or work with us in some way if there’s a cheaper way to get what we want. The lone bright spot was that the food itself was actually really good. I just paid a LOT for what I actually got.
