I’ve visited this A&W location multiple times, and while it has its pros, there are a few quirks worth mentioning. First off, parking is never an issue—plenty of space, and it’s never been crowded when I’ve stopped by. The staff are friendly, but service is noticeably slow, especially when ordering the veggie burger. Speaking of the veggie burger, it’s decent, but the wait time is surprisingly long for a fast-food place. My best guess? They probably defrost it first before grilling, which adds to the delay. I don’t think I’ve ever waited a solid 15 minutes for a single item at any other fast-food joint. That said, their root beer is a standout—way better than what I’ve had elsewhere. Fries are consistently good too. Will this be my go-to spot? Probably not, but I wouldn’t mind stopping by occasionally when I’m in the mood. Just be prepared to wait a bit longer if you’re ordering the veggie burger!

Located in a very convenient location and everything is always available. The employees working there are super friendly. I’m a vegetarian and I absolutely love their Limited Edition Masala Veggie Burger. Super tasty!! This location is also very clean and I love that they make things pretty fresh. Will definitely makes this my go to A&W location in Barrie!

Incredibly yummy root beer, its phenomenal and I literally cannot chug enough. The joint is clean, nice space and the staff are also friendly. The A&W Canada app is also super sweet and I always try take advantage of their deals and promo’s.
