My sister and I decided to pop in for lunch and immediately upon entering we noticed how dirty it was. The floor had food on it and the booths looked filthy. It was cold so we wanted to dine-in so we kinda just sucked it up. The service wasn't great, it was very clear they weren't having the best day, which is understandable in the customer service industry but it didn't really help with our first impressions of this store. The food was fine, can't go wrong with it.

Not only was the burger dried out, but they charged $1.50 for half a piece of bacon. If you needed to cook a fresh burger and bacon, I would've waited a few extra minutes for a good burger verse feeling like I wasted $20 on a burger.

🚨 WARNING: Unfair Parking Practices at A&W Plaza (369 Speers Road, Oakville, ON) 🚨 I have always loved A&W, but after this outrageous experience, I will never step foot in this plaza again. My friend and I dined in at A&W, parked legally near the restaurant, and decided to take a quick walk after our meal. When we returned, we were shocked to find that our car’s front wheel had been locked/booted (yes, BOOTED!). Within seconds, some guy showed up out of nowhere and asked, “How are you going to pay to unlock your car?” Confused, we asked how much. His response? $322!!! We had no choice but to pay over $300, just for parking in a lot where we had already spent money at A&W. His excuse? “I saw you guys step out of the property and come straight back to the car.” So, apparently, if you dine in at A&W or any other store in this plaza and then so much as step outside the property for a second, you could be hit with a ridiculous $322 “towing” fee—even though your car was never towed! Be very careful if you visit this plaza. Or better yet—don’t go at all. A $15 meal at A&W should NOT turn into a $350 nightmare. A&W, I love your food, but I refuse to support this location. I’ll be taking my business elsewhere. Shame on the property management for this disgusting money grab. 🚫
