First time/last time. CASH ONLY* A well known location that serves up fried food such as pogos, deep fried cheese curds etc. The poutine is always a must grab. Location was easy to get to. Parking is plentiful as it’s within a plaza. Staff is friendly and efficient. Food was sub par so while I didn’t personally enjoy it, I can understand how others would. Price wise it was rather costly almost $50 for a LG poutine, 1 pogo and 1 hamburger. I’m glad I tried it to give it a chance but I won’t seek it out in the future.

During my visit to the Fritomania, I found the prices to be reasonable, although although when adding fries and drink makes your ordinary burger in the $15 range. The cash-only policy can be quite a hassle. The burgers were unfortunately below average, lacking in taste compared to other options available in Ottawa. On the positive side, the fries were passable, adding a modest redeeming factor to the overall experience.

First, I'm from Drummondville so we know what's a good poutine. I had high expectations seeing the ratings, but unfortunately I'm not really impressed. The cheese curds are okay but not fresh enough to squeek when you eat it as it should be for a 5* place (my guess is probably refrigerated). The gravy is okay, nothing more. The fries is cooked in peanut oil, which is interesting and they are good. Overall, for Ottawa I guess it's good, but when your hometown invented poutine, it's not 5 stars. ;) Also, I had uncooked fries in mine..
