Very rarely do I ever have such a disappointing experience. I ordered one chicken poutine and one chicken cheese fries. We waited for almost 40 minutes after being told it would take 15-20. Normally I'm quite patient, but seeing multiple food delivery people come in and get food, in addition to a different family ordering at the register and getting their food right away was a little frustrating. The food itself was not good, which was surprising since the Toronto location has always been good when I've gone. My fries were soggy and tasted like they've been sitting for a while. My chicken pieces were not crispy at all - I'd describe them as chewy to be honest! Cheese curds were soft and not squeaky, almost crumbly. Service was alright but I'd appreciate just being told it would take 40 minutes if it would take 40 minutes so I could walk around the plaza to kill time, rather than stand inside the small space. To be completely honest, there's so many fried chicken places in the plaza. You're better off trying your luck elsewhere than a place that seems to have bitten off more than they can chew with running two restaurants out of one kitchen.

Firstly, let me apologize for being a Karen LMAOOO but here is my honest review… and now, The only five stars I gave them is for the atmosphere and that is solely because they are part of auntys kitchen which should have kept the restaurant as one business. I can’t believe this is my first one star review but I am so disappointed by their fake advertisement as a fried chicken chain. I hope it was just a bad night to visit because I got the mini cluck fries and my friend the twaco but both our fried chicken was not freshly fried, perhaps it was baked or microwaved…? The batter was not crispy at all which I find it very strange because they took about fifteen minutes for what? My order was fries (they were not freshly fried either(or maybe they just refried it quickly)) with chipotle sauce and chicken. Service was slow but at least they’re friendly and give you a free cookie if you leave a well needed five star review for their restaurant. This franchise brought disgrace to the chain, shouldn’t have opened it and focused on aunty kitchen which is doing so much better. Will only be visiting for auntys from now on. Hope your experience with them will be better than mine.

Before the Fall 2023 term, I would've given them a 4 for taste/quality, but 3 for portion consistency. Now, the chicken piece sizes are very inconsistent even on the same order. My roommate and I order a What the Cluck together every time, so we can actually both see the huge differences between the sizes. (I've attached pictures to this review of one time we ordered in July 2023, but it's actually worse now.) The sizes have also shrunk and are drier in the last few months compared to the summer term, and have also cheaped out on the maple syrup (using "pancake syrup", likely corn syrup instead). Customer service is also really bad. One time, when we went in for pickup after calling in the order, the employee snapped at us just for asking if the order was ready. (No, we were not being rude or asking repeatedly, and there wasn't a huge in-person lineup stressing her out - we were just walked in after having calling in an order, and it was a very normal question.) So, I guess they prefer online orders and DoorDash fees instead of doing direct orders. Atmosphere is non-existent, since this location is just pickup-only and sharing a kitchen with Aunty's Kitchen. Waffles are one kind of food that really should be eaten fresh, and since you basically can't have it fresh from this location, I wouldn't really recommend ordering from here unless you're really desperate to satisfy a chicken and waffle craving.
