If you like your rice, meat, fries, hummus, and salad on top of each other in a bowl this might be your place! It was too crowded and the taste was mid! The hype is real but the food was disappointing. Friendly staff and nice atmosphere though. Definitely not the best in the west!

Shelby’s Shawarma on Huron Church in Windsor was a delightful oasis after a long drive through the U.S. and weeks of underwhelming, unseasoned meals. Tucked into a small corner, this cozy spot surprised us with its incredible flavors and efficient service. The staff were friendly, attentive, and clearly knew how to run things smoothly. Despite the restaurant’s modest size and limited seating, the atmosphere was warm and inviting. The food was prepared promptly and exceeded our expectations in both taste and quality. We ordered two wraps—one with regular garlic and one with spicy garlic—and a side of fattoush salad. Each bite was a flavorful explosion, perfectly seasoned and wonderfully fresh. The garlic sauces were divine, with the spicy option providing just the right kick. The fattoush salad was crisp, tangy, and a refreshing complement to the wraps. It’s clear that Shelby’s pays close attention to the details that make a meal truly memorable. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, this spot is a must-visit for authentic, delicious shawarma. We left satisfied, happy, and already planning our next visit.
