I was both disappointed and disgusted with my experience. The shrimp in the papas locas were not properly cleaned, with their digestive tracts still intact, and some still had their shells. This is not only unacceptable in terms of quality but also a serious safety hazard, as improperly cleaned shrimp can cause allergic reactions or foodborne illnesses. Due to these concerns, I will be contacting the Midland health department to report this issue.

My family and I always have a fantastic experience with the food here—it’s consistently delicious! While it can be a bit pricey and there’s often a long wait (around 15 minutes or more), the staff efficiently takes orders from your car, which speeds things up. I’ve never been disappointed with any snack I’ve tried. I highly recommend everything on the menu, especially the aqua frescas and the flaming tostinachos!

Agua blancos (sparkling water infused with cucumber and a salt rim) for the gringos! Great agua blanco drinks and fast!! I love this place. Great elotes (corn with everything) as well! Like Mexican candy and drinks? This is the place for you!
