my friends and i LOVE this place! we have to stop by every time we're in NBTX. amazing food in big portions, and the staff have always been so kind to us. if you're going to eat anywhere, eat at Krause's.

We love a good Biergarten and this one is great! The beer, food, people, and atmosphere are all on point. The sausage plate was delicious and the pretzel was chewy and perfect.

The place itself feels so wholesome and unique. I loved the service, we were seated immediately and they allow pets so we were able to snag some seating with shade. There was a small stage by the farmers market and lovely live music. The server was so nice and got my dog a water bowl too! She explained that the halls were lined with all of the banners with the names of the families who had originally moved from Germany to New Braunfels so that was cool. She said to check out the original cafes interior because it was the same as it was from the 50s or 60s. I had the Kartoffel poppers, pretzel with mustard and beer cheese, the apple fritters, and a beer flight! The beer flight is awesome and we got great recommendations from the server.
