This McDonald’s location is shady. If you ask for a 40-piece nugget or request them fresh, they mix in old, dry nuggets hoping you won’t notice. What’s the issue with just dropping fresh nuggets like the customer asked? It’s not harming you in any way. It would be understandable if one box out of the 40 nuggets wasn’t perfect, but how does every single box end up with a mix of fresh, hot nuggets and cold, hard, disgusting ones? You wouldn’t want someone playing with your food, so why do that to paying customers? I just don’t get it. What’s the big deal about making fresh food? That’s literally part of the job. No one’s forcing you to work here. You chose to work here, so at least do the job right. How does one expect MORE without contributing MORE? Am I unreasonable for expecting more and thinking this way? 😝

On the morning of March 3rd at about 3:45 AM I rolled up to the drive thru order speaker, after having placed a McDonald's mobile app order at 3:30 AM. The person on the other end stated that they were not taking orders because they were switching over to breakfast. I responded that's fine. But I had placed a mobile order and it was only drinks. The person then said that they had no way to pull up the orders at this moment. To which I replied thank you I will wait until you are ready. This should have been the end of the exchange. But no the voice from the box said the same thing that had been previously stated. They were switching over to breakfast. I replied in a command voice that is fine and that I wasn't moving until I picked up my order. They further decided to escalate the matter. Needless to say I did get my drinks, I thanked them and drove off on my way. I am posting this review for the simple fact that this isn't the first time that I have had less than stellar service from the staff at this location. If you really hate your job that much and you feel that you do not need to exercise the need to move as if your actions have a meaning in this life. Then QUIT!!! Find another job! If you can't find another job. Go to school get the skills necessary to move on. But in the mean time do not and I repeat for the folks in the back. Do not treat customers like waste. To the management. In the time that I sat waiting there were four other vehicles that pulled up and drove off after being told that they were not serving right now. You are losing money by their actions. 24 hours service is 24 hours service not 23 hours and 30 minutes.

This McDonald's inside Happy's Market in Plano is the best! All the real ones know this is the spot. It even has a PlayPlace, which is super rare these days. They also have a modern soda fountain machine where you can mix your drinks any way you want and a self-order kiosk for quick and easy ordering. Back in high school, I was here every day—it was our hangout spot. The place is always clean, and the workers are the coolest people on the planet. Even though I'm not in the area as much now, I still remember how they knew everyone's name and made the experience fantastic. Five stars!
