We popped in for a quick dinner after a long day. The young man who took our order was so very polite. As we placed our order we saw a notice honoring a former employee who lost his life. The young man serving us shared that he had lost a dear friend. We had a moment as we shared that we had spent the past 30 days with our son in ICU as he fought for his life. It was an unsuspected connection in a Whataburger. Three strangers connected. This young man gave us the most awesome service. We were deeply touched by his kindness. He not only helped fill our tummies, he filled our hearts. I hope the manager knows what an awesome young man he has in his store.

The Cobb salad here is one of the better salads from a fast food establishment. The chicken is perfectly grilled. Portion size just right with plenty of fresh ingredients. Expensive but what isn’t anymore. However, long wait at the drive thru with just three vehicles and only a few people inside at 11am, so service is definitely lacking.
