Update: There's been a shift in management since my original review. I was recently able to speak with the store's manager and an assistant manager. I can now say with confidence that service dogs are completely welcome at this location as long as they comply with ADA regulations. Well done, Dairy Queen! My experience was wonderful with ordering and talking with the woman taking my order. Then, I was asked to leave after I paid, because I am disabled and have a service dog. I explained to the manager that asking a disabled person to leave is in violation of federal law (The Americans with Disabilities Act). Service dogs are considered medical equipment, and asking a disabled person to leave a public space because of their equipment, is a violation of their civil rights. My advice: if you are disabled, avoid this location. If you are healthy and whole, you will have a wonderful experience in a nice atmosphere with well prepared food. Update: many months have passed since my original review. I had high hopes when the owner requested I email them with more information about the incident. However, I have lost faith as they never returned my email. While the Bible takes a prominent place upon the front counter, the principles contained within appear to be lacking.

I enjoy going to Dairy Queen in Whitehouse Texas. In and outside of the restaurant is clean. There is minimal parking and only two handicap parking. The drive-thru lane is made kinda strange. The entrance is immediately off of the highway, with a sharp turn to the right, to the order. There is only room for about two vehicles. Good news, though, their food is good, and so is their deserts. I enjoy their Blizzards are delicious! They are a little expensive, though, in my opinion, with $6 for a medium and $7 for a large. I look forward to seeing what the flavor of the month is😄. Last month, they had THREE different flavors! Most of the employees are young teens, but they are very friendly and give good service. I like our Dairy Queen and would recommend eating there, if you're in the neighborhood 😁!

I visited this location. The General Manager Jordan Widdowson has great customer service. Jordan cares about the customer. He will address any concerns and he goes over and above. He is patient, kind and friendly. Way to go!
