I just ordered a sweet potato fries and the strawberry cheesecake shake. It was really good. It’s better if you go at night time like when they’re about to close on the weekend and it’s usually not too crowded and the drive-through is not too busy otherwise any other time of the day it’s busy and the line is usually long. And I really like how they give you like really big shakes. It makes the money worth it.

Iceberg is a Salt Lake City STAPLE, and for good reason — their impressive shake menu is designed for any and every flavor palate. There is a flavor for everyone (including seasonals like pumpkin spice or peppermint). The fries, burgers, and chicken are good, but they play second fiddle to the ice cream. The service is friendly, and everything is made-to-order (so be prepared for a few minutes wait). The ambiance of this drive-thru/outdoor seating fast casual joint is a blast to the past: it looks and feels the same way as it did when my parents went in the 80’s and my grandparents in the 60’s. That’s right — this place has been around for nearly 65 years, and if that’s not a testament to its cultural and culinary impact on Salt Lake, then I’m not sure what is.

Food wasn’t as good as before!!! Ice cream tasted frozen not very creamy! Maybe it was just today because every other time I go it’s way better hopefully next time we go it isn’t as bad. They do offer a wide variety of flavors and toppings for anyone I love the cherry kind!! Caramel Praline is good too! They have decent employees but not crazy phenomenal employees like some other places (Dutch bros) they have some amazing employees. Overall it’s a good place and definitely worth a try. I have been coming to ice berg ever since I was a little kid. I have some relatives that have worked at an iceberg location!!! Our cashier could hardly really speak English!
