Ordered the 1/2lb popcorn chicken box, they pulled us to wait for fresh chicken. The chicken I received wasn't fresh, rock hard pieces that looked almost gray. And I also didn't get my sauces and the food was mixed up with someone else's until I pointed it out

Never have i ever eaten at a Rally's. Out for lunch on business i read to my coworker the choices in the area. She lit up like a Christmas tree literally crying about her childhood eatery as she snapped photos from the drive though. Once around to the speaker an AI voice asks yo take your order. This took some time as the AI decided to choose violence today and not understand a damn thing we asked for. 😒 once we got our food and back to training it looked super good. Smelled good.. i couldn't wait to try this. The French fries were decent crispy with some seasoning. Biting into the chicken was a whole other experience. It was like a dry sponge 🧽 😐 like i took a bite out of SpongeBob's a$$. The chicken was coated in a crust "fried chicken bites" but had little chicken substance inside. I dont even want to call it chicken.. it was some kind of filler but not chicken. We couldn't eat it at all. Wont ever try this place again. The only positive about this meal was the honey mustard. That sauce was really good.

I have mixed feelings about my visit. I tried ordering two combos, but ended up with way more food than I thought a total bill of over 31 dollars. It was my first visit ever to a Rally’s and the cashier wasn’t too helpful with my confusion. I was disappointed that they didn’t offfer smaller burger options than the huge two patties. The cashier wasn’t rude, but he wasn’t friendly either. The food was delivered quickly and it was hot. Personally, I didn’t think the burger was the best for the price, but it wasn’t bad. The fries were good. I don’t think I’ll return due to difficulty ordering, the cost, and the larger than needed burgers.
