While following my GPS, I repeatedly passed by the building without looking up, partly because the exterior was dimly lit and lacked signage or advertising to indicate the nature of the business. The OG burger was disappointing; it had minimal smash sauce and lettuce and was rather dry. However, the customer service was great. It is also important to note that if you call in an order, it has to be pre-paid.

Smashed RVA is definitely a vibe! The burgers are absolutely delicious...everything you’d want in a classic smash burger. The prices are reasonable, and you can even choose how many patties you want. While I was there, I ordered a side of fries and enjoyed the hip-hop playlist they had on rotation. The large windows also provided a cute backdrop of the city.

Amazing burgers. Best I have had in RvA after 30 years of living here. Staff was super helpful and friendly too. Must stop place for sure. 10/10!!!
