Very good for a classic burger and REALLY good crispy fries. Definitely an American nostalgia place. You can eat in a bus.

First time at Lucky’s. I used to live in Kitsap and Lucky’s reminds me a lot of a little burger spot called Crazy Eric’s. The service was fast, efficient and friendly. It’s cool that you can sit in your car and they’ll call your order over their FM radio station. I was pleased that they use quality ingredients. Big thick cut pickles and a thick slice of fresh tomato. I got the veggie burger and was happy that it wasn’t a Beyond or Impossible burger. I’m so sick of those and they’ve taken over. Hardly anywhere has regular veggie burgers anymore. Not sure the brand but this was more similar to a Garden Burger. The fries were so crispy and good. Luckily’s seems to know what works and has their ways dialed in. I only wish they had onion rings. I’d come back for the food and great service.

If you’re in the Parkland/Spanaway, WA area, maybe on your way to Mount Rainier, Lucky’s Drive In is a must-stop for classic drive-in food with a twist. I went with the Lucky Burger, and the special sauce and pickles were incredible — a perfect flavor combo that elevates the burger. The fries are air-fried, adding a satisfying crunch without the grease, and the shakes are thick, flavorful, and truly amazing. The dining area, known as the Burger Bus, is a refurbished King County Metro Bus, adding unique character to the setting and making every visit feel like a fun, nostalgic experience.
